MOAs/Reports for Community-Oriented Programs
Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation of any Community Extension activity requires faculty participants to submit Extension Proposal that specifies the Impact of the Program to the Community prior to being issued the Extension Capsule. The conduct of the activity should be well-documented with the program performance being evaluated by participants and reported to the Extension Office for documentation compliance.
Faculty/Students’ Involvement in Community-Oriented Programs
The Community Extension Program follows specific guidelines in its monitoring, implementation and evaluation activities. However, prior to the conduct of an extension activity, the Extension Services Dept. determines how appropriate will the activity be by consulting the needs assessment survey. The totality of the Extension Office’s thrust in serving the needs of the industry, community and RTU emanate from prior consultation with the stakeholders. In 2021, the Stakeholders’ meeting was duly attended into by LGUs, Industry Representatives, Teachers etc. to ascertain that voices are heard about the specific needs as well as priority programs that may aid the community as well as the Industry. Community-Oriented Programs’ Evaluation
Monitoring of Extension Activity
The Extension Office has been tasked to monitor the conduct of the approved Extension capsules. This ensures that the activity are performed and finished according to the proposed timeline and accomplishment specified in the Impact of the Activity. A sample monitoring form may be viwed here.
Evaluation of Participants to the Extension Activities
An evaluation form is filled-up by the participants to aid the Faculty members in determining the areas that may still need intervention, specifically in the delivery of the subject matter and its hands-on counterpart.
