The Astronomy Department, now under the College of Arts and Sciences, was previously under the auspices of the College of Engineering and Architecture.  The Electronics Engineering Department, among other RTU research units, works in a collaborative capacity for areas that require electronic sensors and controls.  This link provides an insight of activities behind the Research Centers and Organizations spearheaded by the Astronomy Department, supported in part by the ECE Department.
