The problem of new normal education is not confined to accessibility
alone, but also to the relevance of content, instructional techniques, Learning
Management System (LMS), faculty resources, support to students,
sustainable links, and appropriate policies in light of COVID-19. True enough,
the current crisis has forced many of us to adopt the new educational
landscape, but it’s also true that we’ve become more vigilant in knowing and
recognizing how our quick actions can favorably affect the teaching-learning
process’s outcome. To continue with the teaching-learning process in the face
of the present challenges, the University has been steadfast in the
implementation of its curricular programs, utiliza.tion of resources, and
delivery of services pertinent to the needs of both employees and students.
Hence, this Learning Continuity Plan (RTU-LCP).

The decision-making system for academic matters is handled by the key members of the Academic Council.  This is stipulated in the RTU University Code under Title One – Governance of the University, Chapter Two – The Academic Council, Article 15.  After a decision is arrived at, the approved minutes of the meeting will form an integral part of the request for approval from the Board of Regents should the University Code requires so.  A screenshot of the Powers of the Board of Regents and the Academic Council is provide hereunder for reference.
